On 20 September 2019, Junior Choir and Salhouse Class led the school in an assembly to mark World Peace Day. They sang along with millions of other people around the world.
In November 2018, children in Year 1, Year 2, Year 5 and Year 6 made poppies. Together with those from other local school children, the poppies were displayed in Castle Mall, to mark the centenary of the end of The First World War.
