The wellbeing of our children and staff alike is an important consideration in order to promote our vision of happy, active, healthy inspired learners. Adopting a whole school approach, we are encouraging our school community to make their mental wellbeing a priority, striving to normalise conversations about wellbeing, reinforcing the idea that it is ok to not be ok. Encapsulating many of the PATHS principles, we aim to create a culture of openness and acceptance.
To address wellbeing across our school, surveys have been undertaken to discover areas of concern, small group interventions are taking place, a lunchtime art club has been established along with a focus on staff wellbeing.
Listed below are websites which focus on different areas of mental wellbeing including anxiety, stress management and support for separating families.
