Sing Up
For the last 3 weeks, the Infant classes have been busy improving their singing techniques with Emily Barden, a real-life composer! The workshops led up to a Zoom assembly led by Emily, which Y5 also joined in with. This year’s Sing Up Day song, ‘We are Unstoppable’, is inspired by all the challenges faced by us all since the pandemic began.
Virtual Big Sing
Many classes tuned in to a live concert, especially for primary schools, from Abbey Road studios. Originally that was a Norfolk Music Hub project but in the end it was open to schools all over the UK. We sang along to Gabrielle (Harlequin in The Masked Singer), Nathan Evans (Wellerman) and other artists and we heard what inspired them to become musicians.
