In Year 2, the topic has been ‘Fire, Fire’. Pupils have been creative, despite learning from home.
Characters such as Toby, Vlad the flea and Samuel Pepys have helped pupils understand how long ago the fire was; what happened and how the fire changed London.
The Year 2 team have been very impressed at the quality of writing the children produced when writing an eyewitness letter. It’s also been fun for the team to watch children’s videos of the London’s Burning round, and fearsome flame art has been produced.
