Year 5 has been celebrating Shakespeare Week. They have learnt all about the life of the ‘great bard’, the legacy that he left behind, as well as some fascinating facts.
Did you know that Shakespeare’s works, overall, have been translated into more than 80 languages and that London’s ‘The Globe’ Theatre is in fact the third version?
The children have enjoyed reading the tragedy ‘Romeo and Juliet’ and are looking forward to taking part in some drama activities based on this next week.
