PE kit for Year 1 to Year 6
Children in Years 1 to 6 will continue to attend school in their PE kit on PE days. PE days will be communicated to parents/carers in September.
One great advantage to this is that it saves time with changing and allows us more time actually doing PE! It also makes it easier to ensure pupils have their correct kit as they arrive and to notify parents if they have forgotten that it is their PE day, or if they have incorrect kit.
- blue polo shirt
- black/dark blue shorts
- black/dark blue jogging bottoms or sport leggings – NO LOGOS OR BRANDED items
- school sweatshirt when it gets colder
- predominantly black trainers – school shoes should be worn at all other times
Swimming
Currently, our Year 5 pupils swim at Riverside Leisure Centre. Parents and carers will be notified about swimming lessons by letter in advance of the first lesson. Swimmers will require a sensible costume or trunks and a towel.
Other items
Infant children will require a school book bag to carry their reading book, homework and any other correspondence to and from school. Junior children will require a suitable bag for carrying their equipment. All items should be clearly named.
