We value feedback from our parents, pupils and staff.  It is extremely important to know what is working well, and to seek to address any areas for improvement.

Here are a selection of comments arising from recent parent and staff surveys:

Some comments about our school from our staff

“Our Vision is seen around us – Happy, healthy, active, inspired learners! “

“Our school is special because of the wonderful, supportive and committed team of staff. Although it is a large primary school, it retains the feeling of a smaller community school. Relationships are very important at Poringland. Every child is well supported to fulfil his or her potential. “

“Overall a happy school for all members of our school community. A place where all are valued and children are nurtured. “

“An inclusive school where staff and children feel valued. We want our children to understand the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle which we promote through assemblies and the variety of sports and activities we offer. We want children to be happy when they come to school, enjoy their learning and feel inspired by their teachers and lessons. “

“A school where all children enjoy attending and learn effectively, including learning about mental and physical health and how to interact with others. “
